Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to minimise waste.
- Collaborate with management on menu development, seasonal specials, and presentation enhancements.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with hygiene standards.
Skills
- Proven breakfast chef experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a Hotel or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Excellent culinary skills with a flair for creative presentation.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team under pressure.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in food production, hospitality, and serving is highly desirable.
