At Ancer we don't believe in complicating the recruitment process.  We follow a series of simple procedures which have yielded continued success for us and for our clients.

If you want to fill a job, take a detailed job specification

The first step in the process is taking a full and detailed description of what our clients need.  The partnerships we've formed with high quality hotels around the UK have thrived because both parties understand the importance of sharing this information.

When we form a new partnership with a client,  we set ourselves the task of getting to know their business well enough to judge exactly what type of candidate will fit in.

Sources

We have an excellent network of hospitality professionals around the UK, and have also had major success with the recruitment of overseas professionals.  Candidates will be interviewed thoroughly by telephone and/or face to face, and on our frequent trips overseas we have carried out successful interviewing/pre-selection projects for prestigious hotel groups.

In 2004 and 2005 we've invited senior managers from a number of leading hotels to accompany us, at our expense, on overseas trips, interviewing selected candidates for their vacancies.  These trips have been a major success.  As a preferred supplier we'd welcome the opportunity to support your recruitment drives with such trips.

Matching

Would you prefer to receive three good candidate CV's or ten bad ones?  At Ancer we won't promise to inundate you with irrelevant paper, and we won't promise to fill every vacancy on your books, but we will promise to do the same professional job for you every time you give us the opportunity.

We submit detailed CV's with verifiable work histories, accompanied by a brief
profile of the candidate's background and personality, based on our interview findings.

Communication

Ancer is a recruitment consultancy, and good consultants consult.  We will keep talking to you at every stage of the process, whether we have good news or bad, and ensure that setbacks are dealt with and problems nipped in the bud.

If we keep talking, the relationship keeps working.

Professionalism

We believe that professionalism in business means nothing more or less than doing what you say you will do.

At Ancer Recruitment we do what we say we will do, and we look forward to the opportunity to do it for you.

Monitoring and Review Procedures

Ancer Recruitment has thrived in a competitive market because we believe the service doesn't end when a placement is made.  After-sales is a key element of our work, and we use client feedback to improve the service wherever possible.  At every stage of the placements process and at regular intervals once a placement has been made, we keep in contact by phone and, where appropriate, by visiting the hotel.  If there are problems, we want to catch them early, nip them in the bud and use the experience to improve what we do in the future.
